Open Positions: Sales Manager, Construction Automation (Western USA) 

As Xpanner expands across North America, we’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead go-to-market strategy and drive adoption of our technology on the Western US, home to some of the most forward-thinking contractors, EPCs, and infrastructure leaders. This role reports directly to Head of Sales, North America.

Responsibilities:

- Own and execute the full sales cycle for automation solutions, from pipeline development to deal closing.
- Lead territory growth across California, Arizona, Nevada, and the broader West—targeting solar, public, and civil infrastructure clients.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with contractors, and OEMs.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Field Ops to run demos, pilots, and POC programs.
- Deliver ROI-driven value selling to customers: reduce labor by 50%, shorten project timelines, and increase precision.
- Forecast revenue, track KPIs, and report insights directly to company leadership.
- Represent Xpanner at trade shows, industry events, and client sites.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in construction tech, automation, industrial equipment, or robotics.
- Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding large quotas in technical sales.
- Broad and strong network of industry relationships to leverage immediately to generate performance.
- Deep understanding of construction workflows (solar, grading, excavation, etc.).
- Experience managing both direct clients and channel partners (e.g., OEMs, dealers, EPCs).
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills—comfortable with senior personnel of large general contractors, including their C-suite.
- A startup mindset—proactive, adaptable, and ready to build processes from the ground up.
- Based on the West Coast and able to travel regularly to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience selling to solar EPCs, utility contractors, or rental companies.
- Background in construction tech or construction equipment.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with GPS, telematics, advanced attachments, or retrofit machinery.
